We have been dancing together since April 2008 and are thereby one of the few couples in the world of ballroom dancing who has gone through our youth, amateur and professional careers together.

We are proud to represent the UK all over the world, and have throughout our careers been competing in Europe, Asia and America.

Off the dance floor, we celebrated our wedding in February 2020 - just weeks before the Covid-19 pandemic hit Europe. Stefanie changed her surname to Taylor from Bossen on this day. Now as Mr. & Mrs. our future aim is still to continue developing as first class exponents, demonstrators, adjudicators, and teachers of ballroom dancing.

Some highlights of representing the UK are being crowned winners at the following prestigious events:

  • The Universal & The Imperial Champions

  • Korean Open Champions

  • Taiwan Open Champions

  • German Open Champions

  • Swiss Open Champions

  • French Open Champions

  • Polish Open Champions

  • English Closed Champions

  • Welsh Open Champions

Some of our best results includes:

  • Being ranked twice UK's number 1 couple in Amateur Ballroom

  • WDC-AL World Championship finalists

  • Semi-finalists of all major championships including the world famous Blackpool Dance Festival, The UK Open and the International Championships

  • Finalist at the UK Open and International Professional Ballroom Rising Stars Championships

  • Quarter Finalist at the Professional Ballroom International Championships

Ben Taylor

I started dancing at the age of 8 in both ballroom and latin. Before partnering up with Stefanie, I was England’s number 1 youth (Under 19), British National and UK Closed Under 21 Finalist and winner the ‘Stars of the Future’ Under 21 Championship.

Whilst competing at an international level in dancing, I continued my studies at university, where I graduated from Royal Holloway University of London with a BA in Geography.

Stefanie Taylor

I started dancing at the age of 5 in both ballroom and latin at my local dance school in Denmark. As a youth, I became regular finalist of Danish ranking events in ballroom, latin and 10-Dance, and was selected as part of “Team Denmark”.

From a young age I have been used to competing abroad in international competitions and moved to England when I finished my A-levels to pursue a career in dancing together with Ben.

As dancers, one of the most important products we use daily are our dance shoes. International Dance Shoes (IDS) supplies us with all our shoe requirements in a calendar year.  Whether it is for practice, lessons, shows or competitions – there is no better choice than IDS!

Ben wears the "Contra Pro Black Patent" and Stefanie the "ICS Round Toe" and "Heather Split-Sole".

We are very fortunate to be sponsored by Chrisanne Clover; a company that provides fabrics, accessories, practice wear and couture dresses – everything that is needed for the competitive dancer.

Chrisanne Clover is the best dressmaker in the ballroom industry, and Stefanie has proudly been wearing the Chrisanne Clover dresses since we turned professional in October 2017. Stefanie has furthermore been modelling for Chrisanne Clover at several occasions for practice wear collections, and the front cover model on several of the yearly catalogues.

Ballroom Bling provides dancers with quality accessories and have for many years been Stefanie's preferred provider for her costumed designed earrings. Stefanie suffers from nickel allergy and will not wear anything other than Ballroom Bling's earrings with the sterling silver studs.
